Fats Waller

Pianist Thomas Waller (whose nickname was 'fats') was a brilliant disciple of James Price Johnson, one of the inventors of stride music. In his time, he was rather regarded as a comic singer from the show-business, but he surely was the best 'strider' ever. Here are some of his best-known tunes.
